Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is a stand-up actor and comedian who is famous for her ability to express her humor in a funny style. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. After doing improv and sketch comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza launched her own web series with the Jeannie Tate Show. Later in her career, she became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born on Wilmington Delaware. Her mother and father both are Irish/English, as well as Puerto Rican. Plaza has graduated from a Catholic All-Girls school in 2002. In 2005 from Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. When she was a senior in high school, Plaza was the President of the Wilmington Drama League and her student government at her school. Plaza suffered a stroke in 2004 while enrolled at college. She developed expressive aphasia. She also experienced an ephemeral period of involuntary paralysis. The recovery process is now complete. Plaza has been performing sketch and improv in the New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two locations located in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed standup comedy. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show featuring Ben Schwartz and also the premiere Terrible Decisions episode. Troopers on CollegeHumor, Plaza played the Princess in a satirical sci-fi persona. Plaza was the first saxophonist to debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. She first appeared on Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in the year 2012. As Hawaiian Coffee, she appeared in the HarmonQuest show HarmonQuest 2016 as a Gnome. That same year, she played Aaron Burr on Drunk History and Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. the television series Criminal Minds. In Season 12, she returned to the show with a resounding success in the role. The following year, it was announced that Plaza was to appear on the indie film An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
